Thursday 5 August - Yellow Fluff

This is another lovely plant in my garden. It looks rather like an aloe but I've been told it isn't. When it flowers it gets a long shoot - rather like a red-hot poker flower and then these little fluffy flowers open from the bottom up. The flowers are such a cheerful, pretty yellow. I couldn't resist using them as my subject today.
