Today I chose to photograph a bowl of fruit that was sitting on the dresser in my kitchen. I guess it doesn't have much to do with transition but it looked so delicious and I was afraid that by tomorrow they'd either be eaten or overripe.
The best thing about this time of year is the variety of fruit we have - all grown in South Africa.
I used the striped background as an experiment. I've been reading some tutorials which I found on the Digital Tutorials site. It's such a useful site for beginners. I used iPhoto to straighten the lines with the edge of the photo (such an easy and useful tool) and then I clicked the Enhance tool and my fruit suddenly looked even more inviting. I'm certainly having fun with this challenge.

Hi Brenda, I got the link to your blog from Langwitches. Wow, this fruit looks so tempting - must buy myself some tomorrow. In fact I should put your picture on my fridge to keep me on the straight and narrow! All your pics are lovely Fiona xxx.
