Nineteen days to kick off

This is another shot of Shark Rock Pier in Port Elizabeth. In honour of the 32 nations taking part in the Fifa Soccer World Cup, the municipality has put up a flag for each country interspersed with some banners.

I had noticed the flag poles had been put up last time I was down there and today I wanted to go and see them finished. Well here they are - minus two which have already been "liberated".  It was great to walk along the pier and look at all the colourful flags fluttering in the gentle breeze.
